Bogdan Ivănescu is a physician passionate about a lifestyle aligned with scientific truth. More than a decade ago, he started a crusade against medical myths that do us more harm than good, founding Doctor MiT (Doctor Myth) media platform that conveys essential health information to Romanians through the Doctor MiT TV show, medical conferences, his permanent column in the Știință&Tehnică magazine and the radio show "Medicina pe limba ta!", broadcasted by Kiss FM. He is also the host of the DIGIPEDIA Știință TV-show, aired by DIGI World.Dr. Ivănescu was the coordinator of the first clinical trial in Romania that aimed to treat an increasingly common neurological disease, autism, using stem cells harvested at birth. He founded Stem Sure and promotes cell transplants, being part of the team that treated the first big burn patient in Romania using progenitor cells.For a few years already, he has hosted the DIGI documentary "Risk Zone," which presents the achievements of Romanian researchers in biotechnology, being personally involved in this medical field and publishing scientific papers in specialized journals.Dr. Ivănescu encourages a healthy lifestyle by personal example by climbing, in 2023, one of the 7 Peaks of the World, Uhuru - Kilimanjaro, practicing skydiving, horse riding, and free diving. Starting with the beginning of 2015, I acted as a Coalitia's Health Task Force Member.Coalition for Romania's Development is a non-political advisory structure to Romania's Prime Minister. It comprises of 11 Tasks Forces (Finance, Agriculture, Health et al) led by a Steering Committee which provides the Prime Minister with its advice on monthly face-to-face meetings.The Coalition for Romania's Development has specific goals and targets, measured by Romania's Competitiveness Ranking evolution compared to the other states. The 2015 evaluation showed that the 10 position ranking development in two years was overachieved by and extra 7 position, Romania climbing 17 position on the ranking ladder.From this position I contributed to softening the edges of government's decisions prior to their implementation in the market.

During my first presidency ARBACS enlarged it's size to 4 members (3 founding members and 1 affiliate member) thus having a share of voice of more than 80% of the total market.By the end of 2016, due to non-conform attitude of a fellow member in relation to ARBACS Code of Good Practices, I have decided to resign and withdrew Stem Sure from the organisation.I continue supporting, at various levels, my vision about a unified stem cells industry.
