Profile bio

About Ivan Huang

From my earliest days, I've been drawn to the world of Electrical Engineering, a fascination that still defines my path today. When people ask me why I chose Electrical Engineering, they often marvel at its complexity. I always recount the time I was just ten years old, trying to fix my sister's Christmas lights with no clue what I was doing. Yet, with every flicker of light sparked by my makeshift connections of exposed metal wire, I felt an exhilarating sense of achievement. That innocent thrill sparked a lasting passion for problem-solving and a drive to understand the unknown to help others with what they may not know. In order to be of help to others, I recognize the importance of learning from those with more experience or different perspectives. It has always been my belief that every situation and every interaction holds a lesson to be learned. I firmly hold the conviction that every individual has inherent value, irrespective of any initial judgments. Pursuing new experiences and drawing insights from them is essential for my personal growth and understanding of the complexities of the world. My ultimate aim is to share the knowledge I have gained and provide others with the opportunity to learn from my personal journey, just as I have learned from the diverse individuals I've encountered. Embarking on my professional journey now, I seek new experiences to expand my knowledge within the field of Electrical Engineering and to also grow as a well-rounded person. Besides involving myself in extracurriculars in college, I am currently searching for internships to help me do that. Outside of my professional endeavors, my other interests include playing sports and working out, reading self-improvement books, and finding ways to reconnect to my childhood. Please feel free to contact me either through LinkedIn, or by email: ivanhuangedu [at] gmail [dot] com
