I'm a PhD student in Aquaculture at FURG, focusing on integrated multitrophic aquaculture applied to shrimp, fish, and seaweed production using biofloc technology, holding a Master’s degree in Aquaculture from the UFSC and a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Engineering from the UFRPE. During my undergraduate, I worked for 3 years focusing on environmental, spatial, and hydrological drivers on the macrophyte community structure in tropical freshwater coastal lake-wetland ecosystems in northeastern Brazil; I worked for 1 year at the Microalgae Biotechnology Laboratory, working on microalgae for biotechnological applications; and worked for 1 year and 6 months at the Aquatic Organisms Experimental Laboratory, where I gained experience in shrimp culture using biofloc technology. I also gained knowledge on the nursery and grow-out operation and management of shrimp in the private sector in northeastern Brazil for 11 months. During my Master’s at UFSC, I worked at the Marine Shrimp Laboratory, focusing on integrated multitrophic aquaculture using biofloc technology and shrimp nutrition.
