I am an adaptable college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Criminology, law, and society from George Mason University. Both during and after my academic career, I managed to accrue several months of work experience. I have the privilege of working for Inova Health Systems as a Patient Access Associate 1 where I have learned valuable skills in patient registration and direct patient care using EPIC software. I have also accrued experience with verifying patient eligibility and benefits from their insurance as well as completing authorization requests when needed. I also am privileged to work at the Currency Exchange International as a part-time teller, where I learned valuable professional skills such as foreign exchange, branch operations, and customer service. Working in the customer service and healthcare field has provided me with skills regarding problem-solving, patience, and clear communication. My professors and supervisors have praised me as diligent in my academic and professional careers. I am committed to completing any required training after hire.
