I'm looking for Summer 2025 (May - August) research or internship position. I'm willing to relocate to other cities & countries.I'm interested in the following research areas but is also eager to explore other robotics domains:- Perception, state estimation and sensor fusion for mobile robots in challenging environments.- Intelligent robotics system design and integration. With an emphasis on demonstrating reliable high performance in the real world.My skills include:- Training and acceleration of deep learning computer vision models with CUDA and TensorRT for real-time deployment on edge computing devices.- Derivation and implementation of filter-based sensor fusion frameworks involving IMU, GPS, LiDAR, camera and wheel-speed encoder.- Unity engine development with ray tracing and integration with dynamics model through ZeroMQ and ROS for sim-to-real transfer of perception algorithms.- Robotics perception, localization, planning and control stack integration in ROS with C++ and Python.- Design, assembly and programming of multi-rotor UAVs for autonomous flight.I can be reached on LinkedIn or via email at i.lin@mail.utoronto.ca.
