During my time at CTA, i worked in the safety department learning about Safety Management Systems(SMS). SMS is basically a way of better managing safety in an organization and a way to have all employees organized. While interning, I also worked on an SMS video that was created using prezi. The video is going to be used to inform employees about SMS and how it will affect them in the future.

As a crew member I work several positions such as cashier, maintenance, and food prep. I work with customers on a daily basis and provide fast efficient service to customers. Team work is key to being able to provide fast service and I make sure I do my part as best to my ability whether I am taking orders, handing out orders, preparing food or beverages, or making sure the store is stocked. As a more experienced worker I go around helping my co workers with anything that is needed. Lastly, I work closely with the managers to make sure the store is clean and to help fix anything that is needed.

As an election judge I helped my coworkers set up our area prior to the polls being opened from setting up election booths to creating a no propoganda zone in our area. I looked up voter's names when they were ready to vote and handed them their voting cards. I resolved any issues our voters might have had from helping them locate their correct voting district to translating in spanish for those who needed assistance.
