Bienvenidos/as a mi perfil en LinkedIn. Soy directivo en Grupo Santander y experto en temas de Ciberseguridad. Me considero un profesional “self made”. En los últimos 12 años he conseguido situar mi carrera en un plano del que me siento orgulloso, tras haber debido antes atender otro tipo de responsabilidades y desafíos vitales. Guiado por la ética, la constancia y el tesón, la andadura profesional en mi campo de especialidad comienza en 2009, desarrollándome en firmas de primera línea en el ámbito de Ciberseguridad como S21Sec (para BBVA) e Innotec System, de Entelgy. Esta etapa facilitó mi entrada posterior al Grupo Telefónica (Eleven Paths / Telefónica Business Solutions). Tras 5 años apasionantes, de enorme crecimiento personal y profesional, en 2018 llega mi oportunidad en Grupo Santander, donde ejerzo como Director del GSOC hasta 2021 y actualmente CISO para Cloud & Global Products.Con un CFGS en Desarrollo de Aplicaciones Informáticas y Programas de Liderazgo y Habilidades Profesionales Globales por la Universidad Telefónica, soy un profesional multicertificado como Director de Seguridad, CCSP-SP, CCS-T, Scrum e ITIL.En total, he desarrollado una visión de conjunto muy profunda en Seguridad de la Información. Primero afianzando el dominio de todos los aspectos técnico-operativos de servicio y respuesta a incidencias, para después ganar en visión de negocio, con miras más amplias y centrado en asuntos de estrategia, gobierno, cumplimiento y riesgo. Cybersecurity Director - Global Security Operations CenterBanco Santander Jul 2018 - Mar 2021Boadilla Del Monte, Madrid, Es▣ Member of several steering committees, most notably the Detection, Cybersecurity and Monitoring boards of the Cybersecurity Transformation Plan. ▣ Head of managing the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) and directing its policies, procedures and controls, as well as all services related to its monitoring, improvement and development. ▣ In charge of 70 people across 3 teams: Security Operations, Security Engineering and Cyber Threat Surveillance. ▣ Altogether, in charge of monitoring the security of all the assets of the Santander Group (50+ entities) and its more than 200K employees, ensuring the resolution of more than 1,000 daily alerts, with 24/7/365 operation. ▣ Developing the Strategic Plan, which consolidated the group’s SOC into a single Global SOC with unified procedures. ▣ Leading area development: personnel selection (from 10 to 70 employees), training and mentoring human resources. Creating policies and procedures for monitoring and implementation of tools. Evolving detection capabilities and creating incident response playbooks. ▣ Achieving various certifications, most notably FIRST and ISO 27001, achieved on the first attempt and in record time (6 months). ▣ Reducing detection and alert management times to less than two hours.
