Born in Portugalete, he worked in the advertising sector until founding UniKo in 2009, an audiovisual production company specialized in animation and with which he produced his first short film "Birdboy", directed by Alberto Vázquez. Since then he has produced 12 short films, 3 feature films and has worked for clients such as Adidas, BBVA, Skôda, Iberdrola, Carrefour or Leroy Merlin.Three of his works have been selected by the prestigious catalog "Shorts from Spain". He has won important awards, including five Goya Awards for "Unicorn Wars", "Loop", "Decorado", "Birdboy" and "Psiconautas", or the Grand Jury Prize at the Annecy International Animation Festival for "Homeless Home".His work has won more than 300 awards and 2,000 selections at festivals around the world, including Berlin, Cannes, Toronto, Chicago, Annecy and Clermont-Ferrand.
