About Ivan Pols

I’m the Chief Creative Officer for what3words – the global address system that has given every 3 meter square on the planet a unique address of 3 random words. I lead Brand Experience and we've built a wonderful multinational, full service, in-house studio and marketing team. I champion inclusive and in-house creativity. I write, do talks, appear on podcasts, make comments, learn from experience, and volunteer my time to this new community.I co-founded Truth & Spectacle with Alex Mecklenburg because it's a good idea for organisations and brands to have more truth and more spectacle.I love making advertising campaigns, the most famous probably being Diamond Shreddies, the cereal campaign that ended up in advertising textbooks, business books, TED Talks, and spoof videos. I’ve won a few awards, including Grand Prix and Gold (& even Silver) at almost every international award show including D&AD, Cannes, One Show, Clios, London International, and in almost every category including Integrated Campaign, Innovation, Product Design, Effectiveness, and even web banners. I also like to draw cartoons.
