Organized by Materfad, Barcelona’s materials centre, in collaboration with Artesania de Catalunya (Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda, Generalitat de Catalunya), Neomateria was brought to Korea in 2020 by the Korean Institute for Design Promotion (KIDP). The exhibition was on display in Changwon (18 September - 23 October), Siheung (30 October - 20 November), and Seoul (27 November - 8 January).

Neomateria aimed to empower new materials that represent a fresh approach to arts and crafts, providing a comprehensive perspective ranging from novel approaches to the natural world to the possibilities unveiled by science and technology.
