Somelos is a Portuguese company that produces fine fabrics for shirting. Somelos built its first industrial plant in Brazil in 2005, beginning the production in 2006. Before that Somelos used to outsource in Brazilian companies and/or import ready to sell products.Accomplishments:● Hired to manage the outsourcing and importation processes, promoted to COO when the Company decided to place a industrial plant in Brazil.● Execution of the project of the new industrial plant in Brazil.● Development of the Brazilian Somelos ERP. ● Development of the quality control program and implementation of the production per the Portuguese Technical Specification.● Selection and training of all the industrial workers for the new plant.Responsibilities:● Reporting directly to Brazilian and Portuguese CEOs.● Responsible for all industrial processes.● Responsible for the annual budget for all the industrial area.● Leader of a manufacturing and team of 150 employees.● Responsible for the Supply Chain of the company.● Management of all the service providers.● Procurement of machinery for the plant.● Responsible for the raw material procurement in the international market.
