I bring ideas, people and technology together from a breadth of perspectives to enable digital transformation for purposeful outcomes. I've led teams and projects in enterprise architecture, product management, operations, e-commerce, communications and development.I've worked in B2C, B2B, third sector and not-for-profit across publishing, innovation, travel and business improvement. I typically work in a hybrid role combining strategy, technology, commerce, policy and operations.I enjoy co-creation of solutions and bringing diverse viewpoints together to solve 'wicked' problems. I spend most of my time applying design thinking and systems thinking techniques and work at the intersections to create vision, strategy and implementation roadmaps that deliver purposeful outcomes, I am passionate about the social and economic good of standards, and the intellectual and commercial good of maps, models and frameworks. I am particularly keen on Wardley Mapping and the Enterprise Design Framework, and using 'outside-in' thinking as much as possible.I previously led BSI's work on SMART standards defining the next generation of tools, processes and business models that will increase the impact of standards on the economy and wider society. I represent BSI as the UK National Standards Body on a number of committees and working groups - APPG Blockchain, NISO STS Standing Committee, ISO (SMART and Information Technology Network), IEC ( SG12 Digital Transformation), CEN/CLC (Standards of the Future, Shared Digital Infrastructure, Open Source Solutions).I currently run my own innovation consultancy focusing on improving how people acquire and implement knowledge through technology.
