ASEG is a two-year pilot competitive translational grant program, targeting Canberra's start-up and early-stage social enterprises to address the market gap in funding between pre-revenue (seed) grant programs and the philanthropic, sponsorship and venture capital funding opportunities available to scale-up social enterprises. I took up this post to replace the position created by the outgoing President. There were significant proceeds from the A League 4 Canberra bid flowing to Capital Football to promote and develop elite men's football, part of my role was to make sure that happened. I also helped with corporate governance and ensured that training and development took place at a superior level and that Capital Football met the the needs of the football community in Canberra and the region.

The ACT & Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry have joined forces with he Canberra Business Council, to establish a combined peak body called the Canberra Business Chamber to be the voice of business in the ACT and region. The newly appointed CEO is Robyn Hendry. I was asked to join the board to help provide guidance in its establishment and to provide the usual services and obligations as that of a director.

The film won best film at the Canberra Short Film Festival, was short listed for Tropfest and was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes Metrage, and was screened to crticial acclaim at the Cockatoo Island Film Festival and the Byron Bay Film Festival. we are now working on turning the short film into a full length feature film which will go into production in late 2014.
