My research trajectory began with my Bachelor's thesis, which resulted in a publication on intersectional hate speech detection. During my Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI), I pursued two parallel tracks: six months of secondary school teaching, including serving on the final exam commission, and two years of research in legal informatics, culminating in seven peer-reviewed publications. This research employed Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Machine Learning (ML) to automate the analysis, classification, and comparison of case law and EU/national legislation, aiming to improve decision-making processes.My research activities span two research groups, involve international collaborations (Netherlands and Bulgaria), and include participation in three research projects (one Italian, and two European), promoting interdisciplinary collaboration with legal experts. Prior experience includes software development roles in national and international contexts, including a three-month placement in Edinburgh. Specifically, I developed web and mobile software in professional and academic settings, building programming skills in Python, Java, Kubernetes, Spring, React, GIT and database management.My current research at the University of Turin explores the comparison of EU and national legislation using NLP and LLMs, with a focus on interpretability.
