I am an engineer with over 20 yrs of experience in the truck & bus industry having worked for International Truck & Bus, Blue Bird Body Co. and currently with ZF Industries, I am an expert in foundation brake systems and chassis systems integration I am experienced working with suppliers like Goodyear, Meritor, Fabco, Bendix, Accuride and Hendrickson along with a host of other companies supplying components to the heavy truck market. I have a deep depth of experience engineering heavy trucks from order/concept phase to production being involved in all aspects of a development program. In the past years, I have lead teams of as many as 20 engineers in all disciplines of development and production improvement projects for some of the most highly specialized vehicles for high value customers which have included: the U.S. Military, U.A.E, China, Halliburton & KBR. In my position as senior engineer at ZF I was responsible for new product development of steering products along with daily production issues of both steering and suspension components. I lead a team which includes sales, production, manufacturing, purchasing and quality to ensure that ZF met both internal and customer expectations. I have an extensive background in plant support; leading cross-functional teams in production planning for order coding resolution, NPI, inventory part count. My time at ZF deepened my usage of SCP/SCM/S&OP, MRP and SAP. Coordinate inventory balance issues with NPI and daily build issue, material deviation, ensuring BOM changes where implemented in production. I also have had extensive experience with communicating quality and performance metrics for 3PL’s. Implement plant effectivity dates, sequence changes, coordinating production order change with line-set production material balance & shift.
