Worked closely with Production Supervisors, front-line staff, and other departments to plan work and set targets. Principle Accountabilities:- Manage staff activities to ensure that products manufactured to meet quality and budget set by daily schedule. - Identify performance and quality issues and formulate action plans to rectify problems as variances occur. Delegated responsibilities as required.- Coordinated production schedules to meet customer demands, managed overtime scheduling, minimized inventory.- Monitored production indicators (Transition Logs, Shift Performance Summary, and machine outputs) and use data to drive improvements in safety, quality, maintenance and cost reductions- Communicated with all personnel to ensure effective two-way communication concerning production issues or concerns- Conducted daily shift transition meetings with supervisors to exchange information in order to facilitate smooth shift transitions- Reviewed previous day performance during daily operation review meetings.
