Carpinteria State Beach is a wonderful place that has 162 camping spaces. Within this park, there is also a State Ranger station. As Senior Park Aide I worked in the kiosk helping customers with their reservations and making sure our park aides had all the tools necessary to complete their jobs. I handled possible issues and managed the collection of funds throughout the park. I worked along side the ranges managing the park aid schedules, filing deposits and other administrative duties. Notably, I helped with the implementation of a new reservation system for the park. Helped train employees and volunteers alike in new systems and procedures.
