The Senior Design Project at CU Boulder is a program that invites major companies in the industry to work and share challenging, "real-life"​, engineering projects with the Graduating class.I was fortunate and was picked as part of team to work for Ford MoCo. Our task was to work with three of Ford's engineers to determine the heat loss in the Ford F-150 rear differential, and investigate methods of optimizing this to a point where it would help improve the overall fuel efficiency of the truck. All team members where involved in the engineering analysis, and work in general, but we also had specific tasks appointed. I was therefore the head of communication, due to my previous experience working with large teams and keeping in touch with a large range of people from different fields.Great learning experience, with plenty of challenging problems and finally a great reward when we delivered the final results (IP and NDA protected).

I was elected vice president of ANSA USA in the period from March 2014 to March 2015. My responsibilities included organizing national social events, most notably the Annual Career Day. The Annual Career Day provides our members with opportunities to network with both Norwegian and American businesses interested in students with international experience. On this day, international students from all over North America mingle with prospective employers, sharing ideals and values. Members gain valuable experience learning and interacting with potential future employers. Other responsibilities included allocating funds to regional chapters. These funds provide our branch chapters with opportunities to better serve their members.I was also in charge of keeping in touch with our 10 local chapters to ensure that the communication is sufficient, effective and precise.

Research includes designing, building and testing of a continuos flow centrifuge used to produce micro bubbles. Self driven research with a delivery date at the end of the semester (December).
