I provided team leadership and management support for the entire team of SE’s working for the Interstage solutions. In addition to my main sales engineering role, I was also a Technical Account Manager, responsible for maintaining a technical relationship with strategic named accounts. I monitored how the product was being used by the customer, upsold, and planned for rollout to new projects / areas. I was the contact for any technical escalations, roadmap information, and enhancement requests.

I led the team responsible for the development of Interstage BPM. This is a Java / J2EE based business process management (BPM) suite. I managed a team of 10 engineers for the entire software development lifecycle for several releases of Interstage BPM until development moved entirely offshore. I was involved from Interstage BPM versions 3.5 to 8.1. During my tenure, I architected and planned two major product technology changes during the life of the product. One was to move away from applets to a JSP/servlet and Flash based UI. The other was to create a new Studio component based on Eclipse. I also architected and drove the design for BPM simulation capabilities that were added to the Studio.
