Dryft is a full-service provider of home improvements, energy efficiency and maintenance services, addressing the full breadth of the energy optimisation equation and home renovation needs with a one-stop-shop model.

Responsible for Nordea’s inflation linked bond trading business as a market maker in Swedish, Danish, German and French bonds, as well as primary dealer in the first two. Due to the characteristics of this product hedging is frequent also in nominal government bonds, inflation linked swaps and interest rate swaps. This has given me a wide experience in the fixed income markets, both cash and derivatives. In addition, this role also includes close collaboration with sales and contact with clients (hedge funds, pension companies and fund managers), trade idea generation with research, admin optimization with mid and back office as well as IT and quants for system development.

FX sales and driver for innovative improvements of the banks digital FX offering, mostly towards corporate customers. The client base ranges from some of the largest corporates in Sweden to smaller clients. For the larger clients my work covers, for example, tailor-made algorithmic and hedging strategies while the focus for the smaller clients is efficient distribution via digital channels.

Analyst in the team responsible for hedging, pricing, market making and development of Nordea’s structured products. Working in close connection to both sales and other trading teams cross the Nordics countries. In addition to the team’s responsibilities I have also gained experience from customer interaction, strategic business evolution and IT-development. The graduate program gave me a deep understanding of Nordea as an organisation as well as leadership and project management skills.

Liquidity is an important factor in the execution of trades. This paper studies liquidity patterns over the month by using volume.Construction of volume indices, data structuring with Excel VBA and statistical analysis with Matlab. Total project time corresponded to 20 weeks of full time-work.
