In my previous role as deputy CEO of the group I lead a organizational restructure project to improve financial performance and prepare the company for acquisition as part of that I took over management of our daughter companies in Canada, Denmark, Poland, Spain and Serbia. Responsible for developing the IT organization, work processes, Project management as well as creating and executing the IT strategy. I finished my executive MBA in 2010 at Reykjavik University an International MBA Program solely comprised of teachers from well respected universities like London Business School, Babson, Boston and IESE among others while still working 100% for the duration of my studies. After graduation I took over as deputy CEO where I worked closely with the CEO as well as the board of the mother company. I was involved in day to day operations along with the CEO and after 2012 fully responsible for all operational, oversight and day to day operation of all the daughter companies.Business development and stand in for the CEO in his absence.Day-to-day operation of the company and supporting the CEO. Worked closely with other executives as well as office managers.Was involved in client contracts, partner agreements, merger and acquisition negotiations and due diligence. Worked on strategy and developed a reorganization proposal that was approved and subsequently I oversaw the execution. Was centered around reducing our offices and gaining a cost and efficiency advantage by having fewer and larger development centers. Opened our Serbian development center as part of this execution which was a very successful project that reduced our development cost for around 40% and regained our investments within 3 months.

After graduation I also took over as Chief Customer Officer responsible for client relationships as well as profitability of each account. At the same time I became deputy CEO and was in charge of business development and partnerships. During this time we renegotiated contracts with all our main clients successfully and managed to keep accounts that we were in danger of losing and increase our overall revenues. On the business development side I championed a change in strategy where Betware reduced its overall product portfolio refocusing on core products and engaging in partnerships with industry leaders to continue to offer a full portfolio of games.Responsible for all account management both client and partner relationships. Head of the PMO office and stand in for the CEO in his absence.

Responsible for Large scale ICT projects managing multiple vendors across multiple countries to deliver a complicated IT infrastructure for Large Governmental institutions. Commercial systems responsible for around a half a billion € in revenues annually.Pioneered the development of:- Live betting- mobile betting- eScratch cards- eHorse racing- eLottery games- eLotto subscriptions and groupBuys- eBingo- Multiplayer social platformIntroduced and created the Project management office (PMO) and was Chief Project Officer until 2010.Introduced the Agile development method in 2006.Reorganized the development department into dedicated teams and increased individual efficiency as well as improved Project portfolio management.Introduced continuous integration with daily builds and automated testing in 2004.

Engineer in the telecommunication industry in Iceland, with special focus on new mobile technologies. Developed mobile games for the national telecommunication company.Games created and deployed:Stratego, single and multi-playerYggdrasill, stratego clone based on Norse mythology done as part of a Nordic grant given to Gagarin for promoting Nordic culture.Hangman - multi-player game that people could play against each other through the mobile phone.Adventure game - a game engine where it was possible to create single player adventures were the hero made choices on her/his quest that lead down different story lines: Fought monsters, gained experience and could find special objects (weapons, armor, magical) that added bonuses to attack/defense/health.
