I am the Principal of Requisite Development LLC, a leadership coaching and consulting firm focusing on partnering with leaders at all organizational levels to design impactful personalized leadership learning journeys through advising, mentoring, and coaching. In my practice, I leverage over 20 years of business consulting experience, a passion for facilitating deep learning and self-discovery, integrative thinking, and commitment to evidence-based adult development practices.My flagship coaching program, "Thinking through Change" takes a whole-person-in-context approach to leadership development using the Dialectical Thought Form Framework as a guide for senior executives to become deeper thinkers and experience transformational change on a personal as well as professional level. As a big believer in applied theory as well as adult and experiential learning, I teach multiple MBA courses at Marquette University Graduate School of Management and Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago where I guide students to become principled and reflective leaders in their chosen profession. As a researcher, I explore dialectical thinking not as a philosophical discipline, but as a promising practical cognitive tool to support organizational leaders faced with the formidable task of leading complex organizational change, not yet explored as a line of inquiry in leadership studies. I introduce the idea of dialectical thinking as a particular form of organization of thought to help expand leaders’ epistemologies as a pragmatic tool within a broader adult development discipline that offers the promise of transcending the current tendency for linear thinking and engaging in long-term, visionary and strategic leadership.
