As I've worked my way up from an entry level Recruitment Consultant to Industrial Manager, I have had the pleasure of experiencing all aspects of a recruitment company. This includes interviewing, managing budgets, payroll and a team of 9 office staff members along side 200+ personnel working for 18+ different clients on daily basis.

As part of the Permanent Positions Sector of PRS, some of my main duties include but are not limited to:• Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled.• Write and post job descriptions on relevant sites• Source and recruit candidates by using various platforms including database and social media.• Screen job applications and conduct tailored interviews with candidates to • ensure we recruit the top talents. • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.• Recommend creative solutions for better candidate experience.• Send job offers and pre-onboarding e-mails.• Participate in job fairs, recruitment conferences and client visits.

I was in charge of running a small team who would go to small sales events based all over the UK and represent a client on a national scale to acquire new customers. In this role I acquired a high degree of personal development, mainly in time management as this was vital when meeting new clients. I also enhanced my communication and engagement skills through my friendly and trustworthy approach, which was a vital step in gaining new customers trust. I was entrusted with leadership roles as well as problem solving and securing customer sign-up to investments using an IPAD. I was also responsible for interviewing new staff and assessing personal recruiting potential of new employees for the company.

At Ernest Jones, I got to experience working with a diverse team from many different backgrounds and I soon become very close with every one of them. By working with this company, I had to keep a very high standard of customer satisfaction and in my second month of working there, I got an 88% satisfaction rate from a mystery shopper. I also got to learn about the jewellery industry first hand. Learning about gold, silver, diamonds and watches was very interesting and new to me but I picked it up quickly and soon became trained in delicate watch and jewellery repairs.

Working with an incredible team, learning the ins and outs of procedures and eventually training up and coming team members are only a few of the benefits I gained working for this company.
