GenomicsInvolved in various genomic sequencing projects including SUREkids (Singapore Undiagnosed Diseases Research for kids), Inherited Cardiovascular Conditions (ICC), ATTRaCT (Asian neTwork for Translational Research and Cardiovascular Trails), SHOP (Singapore Heart Failure Outcomes and Phenotypes), SG10K, as well as clinical sequencing requests from various hospitals in Singapore and overseas. Primary duties include executing and managing the clinical sequencing pipeline on targeted gene panels (including designing new gene panels for diseases), whole exome and whole genome sequencing, genetic variation curation, and providing technical advice and interpretations of genetic variation results. EpigeneticsInvolved in various epigenomic projects including microarray (such as Infinium EPIC arrays) and sequencing (such as WGBS, RRBS, and affinity-enrichment technologies) for DNA methylation and RNA-based analyses.Experimental Design and Statistical ConsultationsProvided support for experimental design considerations to ensure proper randomization of study groups, and advised on appropriate statistical methods to address the research question at hand.Data ManagementMerged data from various Principal Investigators within a large consortium including several clinical phenotypes, biomarker, MRI, and genomic into a common indexable database. Also responsible for curation and cleaning of said database.
