Project-based PR professional aiding various communications, marketing and PR efforts for a wide array of clients. Worked to generate positive year-round mass media exposure for Galveston in the following key target markets: San Antonio, Dallas/Fort Worth, Central and North Texas, Border States and the south region, by promoting the island’s major news angles, developments and offerings of interest to journalists through a variety of tactics. A secondary focus was targeting media outlets in the Midwest as well as national/international media outlets. Coordinated media familiarization tours and attended key grassroots, consumer/trade events to create direct contact with target markets.

Responsible for assisting in the accomplishment of the Galveston Island Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and Park Board’s public relations strategies and goals through a variety of tasks, including traditional and social media relations within designated media markets. This role placed particular emphasis on managing internal communications, public affairs and local stakeholder relations. Essential job duties included conducting PR and community relations outreach targeting the local media. This includes PR outreach on behalf of CVB/Park Board operations, accomplishments, events and board decisions.

Served as a percussionist and dancer in SeaWorld San Antonio's return of "Monster Stomp" at Nautilus Amphitheater.

Responsible for managing PR/Marketing efforts for SeaWorld San Antonio. Served as a recurring host for Wave TV.
