I have been blessed to return to Briarwood Christian School as a teacher this past year. I have throughly enjoyed my time working with so many amazing educators! This year I have been tasked with managing students of all ages. I have developed adaptability skills through teaching a different class each and everyday. Flexibility has become an important part of my day to day. I have experience being an art teacher, enrichment teacher, music teacher, K5 through 6th grade teacher, and an educational assistant. This experience has shown me the blood, sweat, and tears it takes to teach the next generations of cultural leaders. Through this experience, I am even more grateful for the teachers that have poured into my life to help me succeed in all my endeavors.

I was given the incredible opportunity to work for Congressman Gary Palmer (District 6) in the District Office in Birmingham, Alabama. I not only learned about public relations through working with people and their cases everyday, but I also was able to organize office information and help out any way I could.

Through my years working for The Amandas, I have been able to work with clients and build lasting professional relationships while creating innovative organizing techniques for their homes. I was given the opportunity to also work on marketing the brand with new ideas on how to reach the Birmingham community while also developing office management skills.

I served and set-up meals for 2,000 guests visiting JH Ranch as well as organized and arrange kitchen supplies and meals in order for each to receive clean and coordinated eating spaces. I addressed guests every morning and was given the opportunity to mentor six young girls during their stay.
