All trade conducted through Rabobank must be monitored by an authority: a regulator. Information about these transactions must be sent very regularly via files and messages to various international authorities. This information is very sensitive and therefore it must be guaranteed to be done securely and every step must be auditable.The Regulatory Integration Hub (RIH) is a system built on the basis of Azure Data Factory that performs this task. Configuration of the many integrations is stored in a database that can be accessed by Azure Data Factory via an Azure Function. Besides being detached by Centric, I organized knowledge sessions (pizza sessions) every three months for two years. These sessions were by and for .NET developers of the northern region of Centric.Since 2015, I represent the northern region in the Expertise Center Microsoft. Every 6 weeks we come together to determine what sort of training and workshops should be organized to be sure that the .NET developers of Centric have enough knowledge to use the newest techniques.

The IT department of the Municipality of Groningen provides IT support for municipal workers on hardware and software level. When there is no standard solution to a demand from the municipality, or it is too complex to configure, the development team does this job. The specialty of the team is to create safe, publicly accessible sites where personal or other reliable information is entered and / or displayed.I am the senior of the development team. I represent the development team in communicating with other teams and to departments who act as customers. I manage the progress of the ongoing projects and guide the team in planning and the communication about it. When applying for projects I conduct the initial discussions to make a list of functional requirements.In addition, I rebuild an existing PHP site to a .NET MVC site, with the aim to make the site more robust and easier maintainable.The software team was to be dissolved because the municipality wanted to outsource all their IT activities. I managed the transfer of all the software the team built (around 80 applications and services) to the operations team. I also helped with transferring the source code of some programs to a third party who were going to maintain the software.

TCC facilitates researchers from the UMCG in their research. They have resources to validate, monitor and digitally perform research. TCC developed a platform called Utopia in which it is possible to place sets of questionnaires, which can be entered bij researchers, but also by patients through a website. The collected data can eventually be made available for all kinds of platforms and research.As a member of the management team I configured and maintained questionnaires for new and existing studies. I was also responsible for exporting survey data to (inter)national platforms for diaseases. As the Scrum master in the team, I accompanied and assisted the team to follow the Scrum process.Furthermore I maintained contact with the data managers of Lifelines when new data sets or data releases should be planned and delivered.

Cofely NAM Onshore is a technical service provider that maintains all installations of the NAM in the north of the Netherlands. This maintenance should be carefully planned and prepared so that not too much time and material is required. Preparing the maintenance is done entirely by hand. To make this process faster and more precise, it was decided that an application was needed.First, I started analyzing the preparation tasks involved in maintenance. I made a database design on the basis of the information I obtained. I designed the screens and programmed the logic. In weekly meetings I showed my progress and the next steps were discussed.I also trained users in entering data so it could be used by the application.

In GOIS (Groningen Research Information System) all publications made ​​by employees of the UMCG and the RUG are stored. The data in this system is updated annually. This is done by a data import of an employee list. Based on this list, the publications that each employee has contributed to, will be imported from an international platform. This creates an overview in which people are linked to their area of research and their publications. This is used for mailings with fundraising goals for new research.I optimized the linking of individuals to publications and I eliminated some bugs. I optimized and improved the manual validation of the linked data.

I configured WoonTotaal for new customers. The configuration was set for each client, so the right functions were visible and the right product specifications were calculated.I adjusted the reports to the desired layout and functionality.

The core product of Sieval Dedicated Solutions is WoonTotaal. WoonTotaal is calculation software for the interior industry. It can calculate and configure the amount of fabric for window coverings like curtains and blinds, but also floor coverings like carpet, parquet and linoleum-like floors. Because there is no standard calculation method in the industry, the software is highly configurable. Through a self-developed scripting language, the configuration and calculation of orders can be tweaked and adjusted. This includes i.e. configuring steps, visible controls and forms.The customers are mainly retailers, project furnishers and curtain makers.I started doing consultancy and service desk work. There were many different installations and each licensee could call with problems that could be solved via the phone, but mostly I visited the customer to add or adjust the calculation or forms. I managed to structure the service desk by creating a PHP website in which all the licensees, solutions to common errors etc. where stored. After that, I trained and coached new employees for the service desk. I also coached some trainees that did their internship at Sieval.When the service desk was structured, I started designing and programming the Silverlight version of WoonTotaal, WoonTotaal Silver. This included rewriting all the code, because we switched from Delphi to C#. The Silverlight version offers customers a web-based version of the software instead of a local program.After the first version of WoonTotaal Silver had gone live, I have been working on bug-fixes and add-ons, as well as configuring new installations for new customers.
