After many years in program management, I started as head of business process architecture and design. My team is improving ASML's core processes while growth continues rapidly. This turns out to be a key enabler for ASML's future. We are a new team, in a new sector, so shaping the team and the sector while running the large business improvement programs is a challenge in itself. But it is not the first time that we/I have this challenge ;-)In my previous role in ASML's DUV business line, new developments followed each other up faster and faster. I was responsible for program management of the latest immersion systems, wafer tables, sensors and metrology. At the same time the transition to SAFe/Agile in a growing and more complex organisation added its own challenges. Defining a strategy to deal with this complexity and then organising accordingly has been my main task.Before, I worked ten years in EUV program management of the latest and greatest technology (of these 10 year I worked 6.5 years in EUV source, 4 years very close with tsmc). In 2008 my journey started with the NXE:3100 and in 2018 we delivered 250W at customer sites. I worked in the forefront of integration and program management of these critical systems for ASML and the industry. Steering the large teams through technological uncertainty was very nice and challenging.RESPONSIBILITIES: Project development management of new technology developments like the EUV Source, NXT:2000i scanner, wafer tables and other developments. Responsible to bring complex, multi-site integration programs to a good end. Program size: >35MEuro/Q, 4-5 programs in parallel, 550-700FTE.Currently responsible for the team that sets and maintains the ASML business architecture.KEYWORDS:Program management. Earlier professional experience is in software development in the rubber industry and bio-technology industry in California, USA.
