UFLL is a dynamic marketing competition that brings together students from all over the world. Joining UFLL means enrolling in a creative brand challenge where we worked with real brands and real cases. It is a thrilling hands-on experience that allowed us to understand a leading business from the inside, to manage our globally well-known brands and to boost the skills we need to become future leaders.In 2017, more than 50.000 students from all over the world applied for the Unilever Future Leaders' League.Starting with a local competition in Münster, along with two other team members, our team "Cycling Forward" worked it's way through the national final of Unilever D-A-CH into the European final of FLL, solving real life business cases concerning the Lipton brand. Also, chosen as one of the winners of the European round, we were immensely proud to be given the chance to represent Germany in the grand final of FLL in London.With a laid-back but nonetheless determined approach to the challenge we were able to convince the selection committees that consisted of senior brand managers and Unilever Vice Presidents of our marketing ideas for Lipton. By analyzing the market, identifying the key barriers for Lipton and complementing each others abilities as a team, we found solutions to improve the brand perception of an extremely exiting brand.Our incredible experience was topped off with our final presentation as one of the Top 10 teams of the world in front of the jury around Lipton Vice President Jennifer Antczak.
