After 25 years at start-ups and scale-ups in Europe and Southeast Asia, I chose to apply my experience and knowledge to resolve global environmental and societal issues. In 2020, I committed to enabling a socially just transition to an economic state in which the planet and all living beings can thrive. I joined Circle Economy, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, because they have uncovered, through rigorous research, that circular economy strategies can reverse planetary boundary overshoots and mitigate climate breakdown. The team at Circle Economy provides data-centred analyses, capacity development, and tools to the private and public sectors to enable the implementation of circular strategies, bringing theory into action. My personal ambition is to enable the transformation of 10000 companies, 1000 cities and 100 nations.
