I have given advice about the lack of control over the functional management processes for the unit IV. The unit owns a number of basic services, but other units make changes to these services without the knowledge of the unit IV.To solve the above problem the following activities have been performed:• Find possible solutions with the help of the BiSL framework and other theories.• Hold interviews with the people involved.• Created a summary of problems based on answers from the interviews.• Analyze the summary to find relationships between problems.• Map the needs of change based on interviews.• Drafting possible solutions with the needs of change in mind.• Compare the possible solutions.• Give advice based on the outcome of the comparison.• Design new functional management processes.

A new service has been setup for FlinkIT. With this service customers of the company will be able to back-up data to the servers of FlinkIT.The following products have been delivered:• The end result, where customers can back-up their data with.• New company processes so the new service can be integrated with the existing processes. • Work schedules so standardization of work can take place.• An automated check to make sure the service will work at the location of the customer.• A KPI that checks when to buy new server parts.

A new intranet service has been setup for Gout International. This service will give the management the possibility to share news about the company with its employees. The intranet will also be used as a knowledge center where employees can ask and answer questions. The last feature gives insight in the birthdays of the employees.This assignment has been completed, but after a few weeks my supervisor became ill. Because we were the only IT-personnel the company had, I had to take over a few activities. The following activities where performed: • Hold interviews with the people involved. • Create project initiation document based on the interview.• Create a mock-up of the intranet pages.• Implement the service and solve incidents.Extra activities• Answer questions from employees.• Solve incidents that employees have.• Setup a print server that is accessible from everywhere within the company.

Every weekend and at the holidays I went to my job to sort cucumbers.

The zoo in Emmen had problems with the capacity of their network. There were single point of failures that were noticeable when employees used their workstations, checkout systems, the phone or when data was being back-upped. An advice and a network design have been made to solve the problems. The following activities have also been performed:• Answer first line calls and solve problems on site. • Register, classify and check the progress of incidents.• Solve problems and when necessary turn for help with a third party.

During my high school time, I had a part-time job to deliver newspapers. Everyday I needed to make sure I finished before 07:00 AM. I got this job so I could buy a server to experiment with. After six months of bringing news papers I got enough money to buy all the parts. After I assembled the server I installed an Hypervisor and started playing with Windows and Linux servers.
