Investigated and identified confirmed and suspected coronavirus cases, also documenting potentially affected contacts in 1-1 Rome District of Georgia. Reached out to people newly diagnosed with COVID-19 to determine contact histories, potential exposures, symptoms, and all other pertinent information. Offered basic guidance and resources of testing and medical consultation for those exposed to people with COVID-19. Provided educational and informational resources regarding isolation policies and quarantine measures as outlined by the CDC. Collected and recorded information in electronic medical records. Operated in compliance with HIPAA requirements and maintained confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Determined donor eligibility by conducting screenings, interviewing prospective donors, and obtaining medical histories while operating in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. Logged patient information and recorded results in DIS (Donor Information System) software. Prepare donor charts, maintained accurate records and worked to ensure safety of donors and team. Drew blood from veins by vacuum tube, syringe or butterfly venipuncture methods successfully in order for donors to complete plasma donation on average 30 times per day.
