In charge of the Legal Area of the Company in Mexico (commercial, corporate, maritime, ports, customs and environmental law). Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, the following:• International negotiations of construction and supply agreements for a port terminal with a total investment of more than USD$900 million• Negotiation/resolution of contract issues/disputes, as appropriate; providing recommendations and solutions • Part of the Local Senior Management Team composed by the CEO, CFO, CCO, COO reporting to the Company´s Headquarters at The Hague.• Corporate Practice, Contract Law and Licensing • Apply for port concessions, environmental and customs licenses; follow up of the process; compliance with the local regulation in order to obtain the formal concession/license in a short term• Coordination of external advisors in different law firms• Assist all the Company areas, ensuring alignment with its policies and applicable law

Legal Director-General CounselResponsible for the legal issues of the Company, mainly related with commercial, corporate, maritime, ports, customs and environmental law. Responsible for contract negotiation, corporate advice and the real estate area of the Company• Negotiating, drafting, analyzing and reviewing international agreements (supply, technical assistance and service agreements), legal and financial documents for different projects of the Company (new cement plant that was built at Cartagena and other cement plant projects in Antioquia and Boyacá, Colombia)• Corporate Practice; Mergers and Acquisitions, Contract Law and Licensing • Urban and Real Estate Law Practice: In charge of all the legal aspects related with the land owned by the Organization (land spread throughout the country and with different types of uses: mining; industrial, ports; urbanism, etc.); negotiation, drafting and review of land agreements; analysis of: tax charges applicable to the agreements, of the environmental aspects related to the urbanism or to the exploitation of the coal mines• Legal Coordinator of the Real Estate and Strategic Resources Areas of the Legal Department• Manager in-charge of the Strategic Resources Area (which comprises Ports and Mining Concessions; Energy and Environmental Law) during my boss’ absences
