About Ishmael Visayana Sameen

I am a passionate and dedicated C / C++ software developer experienced in high-performance video processing technologies especially with open-source stacks such as GStreamer and FFMPEG. Especially when catching up to the latest developments in the C++ standard such as C++20, or cutting-edge video codec technologies such as AV1. My most prominent contribution for my field of interests so far has been GST-MFX, a set of high-performance GStreamer plugins now used by various customers worldwide, and I started this project when I was working for Intel.I have also recently dabbled in deep learning, and I have done at least a year of University research on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Eager to apply my knowledge of deep learning in the industry, I joined Trayzi, a Skidata project that employs cutting edge deep learning technologies for automated food recognition. Finally, as part of my software development skills, I am highly proficient in writing automation frameworks and tools for validation testing and machine learning. You can expect me to be very comfortable with Python 3.6+, AWS technologies such as EC2, S3 and Lambda, as well as Docker.
