JennyLola Studio is a hub where I have pursued my creative endeavors both commissioned and voluntary for the last 10 years. Through JLS I have created a range of work from freelance graphic design projects, selling and creating handmade baby blanket at local markets and online, painted original children’s murals in day cares across the DC/M and more. Also I track my newer endeavors and the processes via Instagram. Currently, I am working on hand lettered art prints for children.

Coordinate and execute all of the facility’s graphic needs, including: postcards, flyers, digital newsletters, social media graphics and other graphic materials. Conceptualize visuals based on requirements. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas. Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final designs and test graphics across various media. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand. Draft mock ups of newsletter design, brochures, iconography, and any other marketing materials. Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines. Collaborate with marketing team and management to discuss which mock ups are effective, and use their feedback to develop final drafts.

Served as creative practitioner on projects including preparing layout mock-ups and client previews, initial design and revisions for web and print also conducted photo research and selection. Worked with team leads to set goals and check in to show progress. Upheld high quality creative work and production standards. Interacted with account and traffic managers on projects at varying levels - from concept to completion - while being mindful of deadlines.

In an effort to gain design experience specifically in museum exhibit design I approached Quatrefoil Associates for a temporary Graphic Designer position. In my time spent there I was given an opportunity to design a 20-panel display for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, which honored their newest HHMI Investigators. I have learned about selecting materials for displays, ordering color test and reviewing color proofs, preparing proposal documents, digital archiving and more. Also I’ve completed thorough InDesign training.

At GRD I created promotional design materials for their events and programs. I worked in conjunction with department coordinators to bring a creative aspect to their promotional and marketing ideas. I designed logos, brochures, flyers, posters, postcards, advertisements and digital versions.

I developed and coordinated classes, workshops, open studio programs and lectures for all ages with an emphasis on the visual arts programs. I recruited and provided direct supervision for program instructors. I also provided occasional classroom teaching and assistance as needed to support special events.

•Managed an average class of 30 preschool students by teaching children’s art from concept to completion. Prepared weekly art lesson plans with focus on preschool curriculum.•Focused on activities primarily in the arts and crafts that taught the elements and principles of art, improved motor skills and built confidence in learning.

•Managed the administrative needs of the SVP and VP the education department.•Handled agendas and calendars also assisted in special event preparation.•Assisted department with presentations, research and special projects.•Clerical duties: phones, copying, mail distribution, ordering supplies, expense reports and travel arranging.

•Managed the administrative needs of the COO. Backup support for C-Level executives.•Organized special events, travel arrangements, corporate agendas and itineraries. •Assisted COO and Director of Operations with presentations, research, preparing expense reports, filing, mail distribution and ordering supplies.

•Provided support to the CEO and President of Silver Lining Productions.•Responsible for interviewing potential employment candidates and training.•Provided technical support for the office and supervised contractor for bigger issues.•Delivered essential bookkeeping, tracked daily financial transaction in the NY office (client royalty payments, bill paying, international transfers, office purchases).

•Prepared and shipped animatics for the FOX’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.•Maintained very tight weekly schedules and deadlines. •Provided support for the directors, producers, storyboard revisionists and production staff.•Supervised interns in the scanning and clipping of storyboard panels in preparations for editing the animatic.

•Delivered all script materials for the Disney Channel series Stanley and Jojo‘s Circus.•Along with the Script Manager I maintained script schedules for both series.•Prepared status reports, coordinated meetings, tracked client and consultant notes. •Provided support for the writers, directors, producers and production staff.
