I worked at Cake Mix Studios, Hasbro's in-house advertising agency, creating TVC and digital video spots for Hasbro's various products and properties. My responsibilities varied wildly depending on what day it was, but on a typical day you might have found me designing decks for client pitches, pitching a Youtube series, decorating sets, working with an editor on the latest cut, supervising a shoot in our studio, and—more often than you might think—being an emergency last-minute hand model on a shoot.

Greater Boston Area

I worked in a team with other BU students to create a recruitment video for Cataldo Ambulance. My art director and I developed several concepts for the video and pitched them to the client in one-on-one meetings and conference calls, eventually settling on an interview-style video that would delve into the personal and professional experiences of ambulance drivers. I wrote interview questions to elicit the interesting and emotional responses the client was looking for and assisted in the filming and interview process itself.

Greater Boston Area

I worked in a team with my copywriter, planners, and account exec to develop and execute advertising materials for the Massachusetts business At Peace Massage Therapy. As art director, I was in charge of creating and managing all visual assets, including layout, typography, color palette, and photography.

Greater New York City Area

I worked in both the motion graphics department and with the Flame artists and was trained in the basic operation of Adobe AfterEffects and Autodesk Flame. As an intern, I shadowed artists, designed key frames that would help influence the overall look of a commercial, and prepped the visual materials needed for the creation of motion graphics.

Drafted competitive analyses, research reports, and strategic suggestions for various clients. Assisted in the creation of creative work, including design suggestions and a newsletter rebrand project. Shadowed employees and gained valuable insight into the workings of a small advertising agency.

Designed flyers, online banner ads, and logos to raise awareness of both Curious-on-Hudson and its related projects. Wrote promotional copy for print and web media and created accompanying graphics for flyers, web postings, and online ads.
