Underwriter: Specialize in risk analysis for general liability and professional liability E&O, while offering a genuine experience to our direct clients and wholesale producers. Other duties include:• Determining appropriate eligibility, pricing, and terms for new & renewal clients.• Has a comprehensive knowledge of underwriting guidelines and restrictions for our different programs.• Solicit new and renewal submissions from brokers.• Collect appropriate account information to assess risk through verbal or e-mail communication with account executives, account specialists, and wholesale brokers.• Bind and assist with binding quotes.• Assist with internal account audits.• Offer guidance and mentor new & current teammates on underwriting inquiries.• Work collaboratively with team members to reach short term and long term goals.

• Process and prepare producer submissions for underwriting by reviewing documents, requesting additional information as needed, doing background checks, and entering data into our system.

Accounting Clerk: Perform accounting and clerical functions as needed. This entails:• Compiling and sorting invoices and checks.• Reconcile retail, wholesale, and finance statements by comparing statements and general ledgers.• Maintain accounting records by scanning files and electronically filing them into the company’s internal database.• Distribute faxes, e-mails, and snail mail to appropriate people.• Verify application requirements are complete before processing payments. If not, will contact appropriate individual for missing documents and payments.• Issue checks for accounts payable.• Work with adding machines, calculators, and databases.• Collect outgoing mail, then using a postage meter, calculate appropriate postage, and mail it out.• Protect company’s value by keeping information confidential.
