Ivylise is the Creative Director at Slate, where she leads the editorial design and manages the art department for the newsroom. Prior to joining Slate, she was the Creative Director at HuffPost. Her extensive experience includes overseeing art departments and applying her design expertise at notable publications such as WIRED, Mother Jones, New York Observer, Village Voice, Showtime, People, and Popular Science. In 2016, she spearheaded the award-winning redesign and rebranding of Mother Jones. Originally from Miami, Ivylise now resides in New York with her husband and daughter.
