When I was a child, my father, who worked as a registered nurse, would make up bed time stories for myself and my little sister about a red blood cell and a white blood cell and the adventures they'd go on in the body. I always loved those those stories, and as an adult I asked my father to write those stories down so I could always remember them. Finally, since he retired, he wrote his stories down. I had the idea to illustrate them and turn it into a book that all kids could enjoy. The Adventures of Lucas and Erythro is an educational children's book about teamwork and what cells do in our body.
