I have been in education for over 20 years, with experience in classroom teaching, reading intervention, teacher management, program development, teacher training, and instructional design. During my career, I have spent almost 9 years teaching in the preschool classroom and 5 years developing a preschool program and managing its implementation across different schools in the Philippines.Having worked as a Training/Teacher Manager in Shanghai, China, and currently working for an international school in Bahrain, I am used to teaching students and working with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.As a Leader of Learning at New Generation Private School, my vision is centered on cultivating a robust academic culture that thrives on educational innovation and literacy for all. This is anchored on High-Quality Learning and Teaching standards. As a Reading Clinician at Reading Specialists, I work remotely with a team to provide reading intervention programs that cater to diverse student needs. These programs are anchored on the Science of Reading research and the Orton-Gillingham approach.The goal that I want to share with my team is for every student to benefit from a learning experience that is both enriching and grounded in best practices, reflecting my dedication to shaping a future where every learner's potential is maximized through targeted support and curriculum enhancement.
