Ivy Simmons is a collaborative bridge-builder whose strength lies in identifying and maximizing hidden opportunities, strategic planning, team building and relationship management/client cultivation strategies. She is a graduate of Spelman College beginning her career as a student and young alumni with their Office of Institutional Advancement. Here she began her experiences with community engagement, external partnerships and donor relationship practices.As a former dancer and writer, art informs her life. For a performer, connecting with fellow dancers, audiences as well as choreographers is of tantamount importance. One must be accessible and intuitive to the need while remaining authentic to oneself as you work toward mutually established goals. This is one of Ivy‘s formidable strengths. She is a dynamic leader and project manager that has worked within the corporate, non-profit, entertainment, grassroots, customer engagement and environmental worlds seamlessly. Her sociological background provides excellent insight for client interface and planning. Client projects range from Reebok, Colgate-Palmolive, Absolut and more.Ivy is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as well as the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College. She is a Senior Fellow with the Environmental Leadership Program and serves as a member of the executive board for the Women Thrive Conference powered by MBPA and as a board member of the Jai Institute for Parenting.
