As part of my sandwich BSC Agricultural Engineering course i took a sandwich year working for McHale Engineering.I spent 6 months of my time working as general operative on the assembley line for Mchale Fusion, learning all aspects of the assembly line to familiarize myself, with the product. I also spent time assembling the McHale 998 bale wrapper as stand in when staff were absent.The other 6 months, I was moved to R+D department to work on up and coming McHale Projects.These included building the first Mchale Fusion 2, and sppending time in the field looking after themDoing some testing on the Mchale Belt baler which became the V660, before it was launched

The dealership was based in a small village in west wales serving the local area in Agricultural Engineering, work, automotive repairs and general fabrication. I gained lot of experience in carrying out various work, this consisted of PDI of tractors and new equipment, repair of new and used tractors. Assemble and build new implements, such as Mowers, tedders, haybob, rake. muckspreaders, flail toppers, hedge cutters, balers and many more. General repairs and servicing of automotive vehicles, and light duty vehicles tooFortunate to have a skilled Technicians and staff who were eager to teach, and was often encouraged to work on own initiative to get the work done.
