• Start up, shut down and keep the plant in normal operation with the trouble shooting to keep the target production per year.• Responsible for smooth operating of Utility Plant by DCS day to day activities such as recording, monitoring and conditioning the operation system as well as possible.• Maintain high standard, reliable and efficient operating variables in line with (HSE) Health, Safety and Environment policy. Ensure shift activities are in line with HSE requirements including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS – 18001 and Risk Management by no spillages of chemical incident or unnecessary chemical waste.•Assist junior operators in performing their duties effectively by giving on shift training.•Responsible for the preparation of works for maintenance, follow up and monitor the maintenance work, sign off upon completion and recording information in the system.•Take effective action to control emergencies and contain hazards within area of responsibility.•Adherence to plant operating procedure guidelines and instructions.•Responsible to understand the company policy, obey the code of conduct and discipline.Take effective action to control emergencies and contain hazards within area of responsibility.
