As the Director of Careers and Employability, I provide the strategic leadership and vision for an inclusive, impactful and digitally-enabled careers offer at the University of Liverpool. Our aims; to develop a fully embedded employability vision that supports all students through their curriculum; to create an exciting and impactful extracurricular offer that engages students, encouraging them to try new things and make positive connections; and to create an open, friendly and accessible space for all students to easily benefit from expert careers support in our sector-leading Career Studio, staffed by own amazing student Career Coaches. We innovate new approaches to engagement, stay at the forefront of employability development, enhance current provision to increase impact and initiate change to support key objectives and most crucially of all, we are focused on delivering student success.Previous roles include working as an Employability Business Partner at The University of Liverpool and Careers Adviser at Liverpool Hope University offering expert advice and guidance to students and graduates. Prior to this, I have 10 years experience working with primary, secondary and post-16 FE children and young people in a range of settings including formal educational environments as well as community-based outreach.
