Finalized topics included Food Sustainability, Engineering, Molecular Biology, Computer Science, Physics, and Aquaculture. In addition to Mission Trails Regional Park, I secured field trips to the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve and the Living Coast Discovery Center for the EIS summer program.

Worked on the Ocean Resources Enhancement & Hatchery Project (OREHP) from August to November 2015 and the following field season in June 2016: collected fish samples from several sites along San Diego's coastline and bays to measure feasibility of enhancing the white seabass fisheries. Responsibilities included setting & retrieving nets, processing gill nets at the dock, identifying local fish species, taking measurements, and maintaining gear.
