Working with/for Sirius XM providing change management and technical documentation for multiple software and hardware solutions. Managing document lifecycles across multiple data storage platforms, including Teams and Confluence. Working closely with SMEs and end-users during dynamic development cycles to ensure long-term document relevance.

Writing/editing documentation in support of the NMLS system for both industry and regulator users nationwide. Responsibilities included website maintenance, SME interviews, developing subject matter familiarity across complex interstate regulatory differences, assisting in instructional design and presentation supporting the organization-wide transition to Office 365 and Teams.

Liaison to the faculty at Georgetown University. I worked with faculty, offsite call center staff, onsite technical support, and University Information Systems to provide service and quality assurance to Georgetown's faculty constituency with regards to Blackboard's Help Desk support. I performed in-depth descriptive statistical analyses, interacted and worked with faculty to determine needs and streamline service, and worked closely with call center and Georgetown technical support staff to improve communication and deliver timely training materials.

Developed, wrote, edited, and maintained the complete range of company products like content presentations, classroom guides, activities, handouts, job aids, and assessments for 12 different courses. Created specialized training modules for e-learning courses and classroom instruction. The position required strong attention to detail, proofreading, editing, research, and teamwork skills. Instructional design and course design were also a key part of the job.Worked successfully with large-name clients including: Aon Hewitt, SAP, Shell, and Siemens, utilizing proprietary client systems to develop both Web-based and instructor-led training courses.

Contract (extended once). Coordinated daily with individual Smithsonian Institution units and stakeholders to thoroughly research and vet high level donors’ gifts and priorities in order to craft detailed responses on behalf of Secretary Clough and the Board of Regents.Drafted over 100 pieces of correspondence at the executive level for Secretary Clough and the Board of Regents while also coordinating responses with recipient units.Assisted with various writing and editing projects for the Communications team, including producing the 2012 annual report and Q4 2012 and Q1 2013 quarterly notable gifts reports for the Smithsonian National Board.

I was a contractor (contract extended twice) supporting the launch of the Washington Post's Politics 2012 for iPad mobile app through editing, metadata, and research.

A training program to learn professional proposal writing, SME interviewing and gaining experience with extensive and diverse workloads in a fast-paced working environment.

I liaised between two teams on our Prime Vendor contract, which was for delivering food to every U.S. Army soldier stationed in Iraq. I primarily assisted with administration on our vendor and billing sides. I also developed and maintained a new system for keeping our documents secure, updated, and accessible with our overseas offices.

I worked on two e-newsletters through writing copy, proofreading, and distribution, conducted interviews and composed articles for the association's bi-monthly magazine, supported the annual trade show through videography and event coordination, updated both the primary association and trade show websites, produced video interviews, and organized a hard copy database of association publications.

I worked mostly answering phones, leading guided tours of the Capitol building, and logging mail, and also assisted on various projects and research.
