Participant in the 2018 Stanford Ignite Program, which uniquely combines Stanford PhD students and post-docs with innovators, scientists, and engineers from leading companies to provide fundamental training in core and applied business and design-thinking skills. The program is framed around bringing an early-stage venture to market, and is taught by prominent Stanford GSB faculty and executives and mentored by renowned corporate, venture, and angel investors.

Worked on the R&D team at Karius to provide technological advances in the production of next-generation sequencing libraries from cell-free DNA fragments extracted from patient blood samples, with the goal of more comprehensively and efficiently diagnosing bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. First-ever R&D intern at Karius and widely considered best-ever R&D intern at the time.
