I manage a team of developers of the m.vk.com content platform. I was lucky enough to build a team of 4 people from scratch. I interviewed and hired them. Bringing them up to speed. I also, separately, supervised the outsourcers interacting with our team.We are engaged in the development and support of the vk.com content platform. Stories, Highlights, Posting, Profile, Photos and more. We participate in a lot of special projects (including federal level).

During this period I was involved a lot in large product launches and tried to work with the product from different sides (mVK/web/backend).I was developing features in different parts of the site besides my main area of responsibility. Performed cool refactorings affecting many parts of the site. Developed moderation panels for testers and developers that helped to develop the product faster.Participated in a major profile update. Also in a special project that was used by about 5 million people in 3 days and was recognized by local media. I was also able to participate in a major update of the photos section. I participated in all sorts of special projects (for the new year, the beginning of the school year and various other events).A separate part of this period was the work with the platform of mini applications (VK Mini Apps). I developed these apps from scratch and maintained old ones. These apps are integrated into native clients (iOS/Android) via webview, so there are a lot of peculiarities when working with them.

I came in as the only developer on the content platform team. My area of responsibility included everything related to the m.vk.com frontend in the team. Namely: Posting, Story Viewer, Story Publisher, Bookmarks, Highlights. A huge amount of legacy code in PHP + JavaScript compiled into PHP. No React, just some rudiments on using modern technology.During this period I released all the functionality of Highlights. I was actively interacting with the infrastructure, implementing React. I was involved in a large mailing list of 2+ million users (email layout and mailing script). Performed tasks for vk.com, m.vk.com on both frontend and backend. During this period, I fully realized the power of developing for millions of users with high load and all the resulting processes of code quality control. Smooth rollout to users, fast rollback, A/B testing, performance testing, design review, security testing, analytics, support for 20+ languages.

Participated in the development of a portal to automate the work and customer service of federal mobile operators (Megafon, MTS, Rostelecom).When you call an operator, he picks up the phone, and from that moment all the service is conducted in the panel we developed. All your statistics, tariff management, promised payments. A huge amount of functionality for managing corporate clients. A lot of graphs with statistics.It is a large (more than 1.5 million LOC) hybrid application at the intersection of native code (oldest pieces from 1996) and AngularJS, Angular. The backend of the project is different microservices in Java (something responsible for payments, something for promised payments, something for history and so on) sometimes combined into one service.As a developer, I've been translating large business pieces from legacy and AngularJS to the target stack (Angular + TypeScript). Writing unit tests (Karma + Jasmine). Conducted code reviews. Maintained legacy code (love and practice). Participated in UI kit organization.I managed to act as a "manager" as well. I led large business problems (a quarter or more in length). I decomposed them, communicated with designers, analysts, testers, programmers from other departments and customers. And after completion, I conducted demos for customers and executives.

Participated in the development of a bulletin board (analog of Avito). My first official job (before that there were a couple of years of freelancing). Here I used the maximum amount of technologies, because the work was in startup mode (personal record - about 3 months without weekends and 12 hours of work (it's bad to do it this way and in the long run it negatively affects productivity)).On the frontend I organized the project build (webpack, gulp). Layout layout, did SPA (no framework was used). Developed panels for moderation. On the backend I used PHP and Phalcon framework. I participated in the development of API, image processing module (to translate the phone into a picture (at that time it was an actual way of protection from scammers), to generate watermarks on the photo), authorization/registration.I have been involved in DevOps, configuring backup system, version control system and web server (nginx, apache, php-fpm, mysql, redis, sphinx). I configured SSL certificates (A+), mailing server (iRedMail and all that).
