*Shift worker working in a multidisciplinary hospital on-site laboratory operating 24 hours/7 days.*Specimen reception, sorting and distribution.*Communicating pathology results to doctors or other health professionals and general enquiries.*Performing routine transfusion blood tests including blood group, antibody screen, direct coombs, antibody investigation, crossmatch, phenotyping, elution, cold agglutination, antenatal screen and neonatal screen using manual and automated methods. As well as interpreting and authorising the reports.*Also experienced on responding to hospital transfusion emergencies such as massive transfusion and transfusion reaction investigation.*Operating, maintaining and trouble-shooting equipments using in Transfusion.*Preparation of reagents and QC material.*Performing as well as reporting internal and external QC.*Performing Biochemistry and Haematology tests and authorising results.*As well as operating, maintaining and trouble-shooting machines used in Biochemistry and Haematology area.
