I work both on-site and remotely throughout the year for companies’ eight annual events. Remotely, my primary responsibilities are as follows: writing and distributing press releases to well-established news outlets (publication achieved in The Yorkshire Post, The Yorkshire Evening Post, Manchester Evening News, The Chronicle, and more); creating and distributing marketing emails to audiences of over 12,000 people; clearing inboxes of ticketing issues, refund requests, and general queries; creating event listings across top-rated event websites; steward recruitment, rotas, and payroll, and occasionally invoicing traders. On-site, my primary responsibilities include: setting up the event site, such as signage, furniture, and workstations; steward management and the delegation of stewarding roles, and helping lead the breakdown of the festival site.

As event staff, I would unpack, distribute and organise equipment, furniture, and signage leading up to the event. On the day of the events, my tasks were to manage and steward traffic within the carparks, assist the public, and help dismantle the venue.

During my time studying at university, I worked part-time for Xenia Recruitment. As a member of their agency, I worked as both bar staff and as a waiter in various work settings, including suites, boxes, main bars, and kiosks. Frequent venues included sporting stadiums, racecourses, event halls, and festivals.

I tutored GCSE English Language part-time alongside my studies. I worked with students analysing past papers and to help them achieve their target grades.

I spent three years working part-time at The Little Teahouse front of house. I was barista trained, till trained, and assisted in the kitchen with food preparation.

My roles as a Kitchen Assistant included cleaning, tidying, working with stock, glass collecting, and helping prepare for events.

I worked as front of house in both the restaurant and takeout areas. Tasks included food preparation, restocking, cleaning, tidying and till management.
